Question: I am getting Bad Host ID error. What do I do?
Answer: Bad Host ID can be caused by two potential problems: 1. You run Register on one system to generate the password request and run the software
with the password on a different system. To fix this: Please run Register on the system you will be running the software.
2. You are not using the correct version of Registration Code that matches your version of the software. To fix this: If you are
running the latest version without upgrading to version 6.X, please upgrade first, or, continue to run your older version with your existing Registration Code.

Question: I recorded a CD but it is unable to read back? Answer: 1. Please use a CD-R rather than CD-RW disc because most UNIX CD readers can not read back CD-RW discs. 2. Please use a standard
supported CD reader to read the CD-R. Do not use the CD-RW drive as a CD reader because most CD-RW drives only support reader function for PC, not for UNIX. 3. Since you are in a multi-user multi-processing
environment, would you try: a. Src=File List, Dest=Image File, record b. Src=Image File, Dest=CD-R, record @ 2X This way, we try to elimiate any possibility of Data Under-run.
Hint: In the Server environment, depending on how busy your I/O port is, you should be able to record at 2X using Image On-the-Fly;
4X-8X using Image File, 12X using Virtual Disk.
